We provide Energy Performance certificates for homes marketed for sale as well as homes put up for rental. Energy performance certificates can only be produced by qualified domestic energy assessors who must then become accreditated by a government approved body. I qualified through City and Guilds, gaining a level 3 Diploma for Domestic Energy Assessors. I also hold a bpec certificate Part L which is a certificate in energy efficiency for domestic heating (England and Wales). I am at present training for commercial non domestic energy assessments and I hope to be able to provide this service in the near future

 

I am a member of  the STROMA Accreditation Scheme and my accreditation number is STRO 001991 . This includes insurances and RDSAP software to process the energy performance certificates and to upload the information to the central register.

 

Parl L of the current building regulations is the section of building regulations that deals with energy efficiency

 

To be a qualified domestic energy assessor you also need to have a CRB check for a basic disclosure
